Are you implying that the man command can get to a SUBDIRECTORY under
c:\djgpp\share\man ??

Somehow an installation put in a subdirectory as this:
c:\djgpp\share\man\man1 [note man1]
Here is where these files were installed. Actually they were installed in
c:\djgpp\man\man1, but I fixed that a few minutes ago.
