This is to announce that the DJGPP port of GNU Sed 3.01 is now
available from SimTel.NET mirrors:

For those who don't know: Sed is a batch text editor which is
typically used to change text files non-interactively.  It has a
powerful set of editing commands, and is IMHO a convenient tool for
text transformation.

Beginning with this release, GNU Sed supports DJGPP in the official
distribution, so the above is just the official GNU release compiled
and packaged for DJGPP, plus a README.djgpp file which includes some
usage notes; be sure to read it.

This release is the first GNU Sed version to come with documentation
(both Info and a man page).  It is also slightly faster than Sed 1.18,
provided that you will use the faster of the two executables in the
binary distribution (see the file README.djgpp, for the reasons why
two executables are distributed).

As for other new features, there aren't any: this is a bugfix
release.
