With volume envelope supported, now JGMOD is able to play XM better. If you are dissapointed with the previous version of JGMOD (14 June 1998) because it is worse at XM, you might not with the newest version. Try it out. What's new ----------------- 1. Volume envelope supported 2. Some XM with Amiga frequency play samples with negative finetune in B note incorrectly. Fixed. 3. JGMOD (when playing XM linear period) no longer crashes programs (with floating point exception) which uses floating point calculations 4. Key off (or note off) is properly supported. Previously implemented as note cut. XM effects unsupported ---------------------------------- 1.Arpeggio 2.Set envelop Position 3.Panning Envelope 4.Auto Vibrato If you don't know what JGMOD is ----------------------------------------------- JGMOD is an add-on library for Allegro. It uses allegro digital routines to play mod musics. Currently it supports mod (15 & 31 instruments), S3M and XM. It is a guestware. Which means you have to register to use it. But the registration is totally free. Just fill in a form and you are registered. The form can be found in JGMOD homepage.
