Eli - I have been reading the posts here once or twice a day since I dl'd djgpp and allegro. My previious experience is in writing operating systems in machine code and a proprietary form of assembly which has been obsolete for 10 years. By reading the answers you provide, I am finding many of my future questions get answered prior to my posing the question and I have been taking notes. Learning C++ would have been far more difficult without your very helpful posts, and I wanted you to know that they are very much appreciated. I had no idea that english was your second language and am very curious as to what your first language is. Sorry if this was off topic but I want my appreciation to be a matter of public record. You and DJ and the others have been doing splendid work, thank you and keep it up. Scarecrow Today I really MUST get organized ... ... as soon as I find my other shoe.
