I don't know how stable it is, though I believe it's not bad. I have been using it instead of 'conventional' gcc for 10 months or so and I had no problem with it. Though, I think it has some minor lackings (e.g. I found that it wouldn't recognize long double type). Any way, as you can think, mine would probably be an old version by now, but I would recommend you to get a well tested (some months) version if you are still interested.
