I had a similar problem with a PII-233 machine (Dell). Everything compiled with djgpp crashed (hung, computer not responding, no output from program at all), even compiler and every other djgpp-made tools. This occured when starting W95 with "Command prompt only". Never in W95 with GUI.. It turned out that the PNP driver for the soundcard (TurleBeach Montego) and djgpp didn't like eachother. In other words, removing the driver fixed the problem.. Very strange because the driver was loaded in W95 with GUI and it worked then... hm.. Can this information help you perhaps? /Andreas Vernersson -- democoder in Noice (www.noice.org) -- Umeå/Sweden
