There are some ports of OpenGL to DOS platform. Best known is MESA. Good implementation of it is in the Scitech Software's MegaGraph Library (MGL). I've compiled almost of all OpenGL examples in MGL under DJGPP and need to say that it work good. If you have card with 3D-acceleration then your programs will work quickly (relative to other machines) because MGL have support for such cards (not for 3DFX as I know but for general 3D).
