In defense of Microsoft... Microsoft makes some of the best software for the Windows Platform. It just works too well together... But aside from such biased issues... Is there a FAQ for this listserv/newsgroup to inform users to post in plain text format? Perhaps even specific instructions of how to do this in popular email and news clients. Granted, regular listserv/newsgroup users will do this in consideration of others, but those new to the concept dont really know better. Is posting in RTF ok? The nicety of being able to do such is that we can easily distinguish between code (normally courier, or another fixed font), and a description of the problem/howto written in a proportional font, and/or another color. If there is such a FAQ, please post the URL. -Lucas > -----Original Message----- > From: Salvador Eduardo Tropea (SET) [mailto:salvador AT inti DOT gov DOT ar] > Sent: Friday, June 19, 1998 10:17 AM > To: Martin Str|mberg; djgpp AT delorie DOT com > Subject: Re: OFFTOPIC: html posts > > > ams AT ludd DOT luth DOT se (Martin Str|mberg) wrote: > > > Why is it that so many posts with a html copy of their > posts in their > > posts?
