However now it seems that since I can get it to compile it won't link properly. Now I have seen several posts complaining about linking problems in this group and perhaps this has something to do with it. Essentially in RHIDE when I compile the C++ code it returns no errors. but then when I try and run it I get the message: Cannot open -lstdcx: No such file or directory (ENOENT) I assume that the linked is trying to use -lstdcx as a command-line parameter. I went into DOS and tried it out for myself on the command line and I got the exact same error. SO I assume that either RHIDE is trying to link with an invalid parameter or the parameter simply isn't supported in this linker. If anyone has any hints on how to get around this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance!
