Likely causes of this problem: 1) You have not correctly set the DJGPP environment variable as instructed in 'readme.1st'. 2) You have not unzipped all required files (at least djdev201.zip, bnu281b.zip, gcc281b.zip). 3) You have modified djgpp.env despite the warning not to. 4) You have set the DJGPP variable but you're out of environment space or something else is causing it not to take. 5) You have misspelled or otherwise messed up the DJGPP environment setting.
