If not, could you point me to a GNUish debugger that does? I'd like to give a little more info if I could. I'm running RHIDE 1.4 on a 200MMX(Intel) w 32 megs of RAM. My OS is Win 95 OSR2. My video card is a Matrox Millenium w 4megs RAM. I know that I've got the horsepower (but maybe not the hardware eh?) to run the debugger, but after seeing the response about the possibility of an unsupported video mode, I did some tweaking in my enviornment. I usually run 24 bit color in 1024 X 768, so I scaled down to 800 X 600 and then 640 X 480 in 256 color mode. RHIDE bombed both times. I then took it out of 95' and ran it in DOS mode. It bombed again. I am using Allegro's mouse stuff, but I don't believe that's the problem (yet :) because I'm not getting that far in the code. When RHIDE bombs, it looks like it' trying to draw Doom's screen in the upper 2/3rds of the window, then it just shuts down. No GPF or anything under 95. In DOS mode it just blanks the screen, locks up & I'm forced to cold boot. I'm at a loss. I thought that Matrox would have modes that worked OK... OH well. Does anyone have any ideas, cuz I would love to get the debugger working. Anyway, thank you all for your time. I truly appreciate it. If by some chance I figure it out on my own I WILL post it here.
