All works OK and my player can play list of files and convert MP3s to wav under DOS. But .... when I tested some songs with silence in the middle I heard a lot of noise. First I supposed the noise was from my computer, so I grownded it (I normally use a good grown but last time I moved the computer I forgot to connect it), the quality improved, but the noises remained. Then I added the WAV converting routine and tested generating a WAV and then playing it with my sound player (it ISN'T based on Allegro), surprisingly the quality is FAR better, so the problem IS in the streaming stuff. I tried using reserve_voices(2,0) but it didn't kill the problem. Does anybody know where is the problem? I'm using Allegro 3.0 no WIP.
