Well, I use Caldara Opendos 7.1 with 40 meg of mem, and I have no problems
with using emm386.exe wich comes with that, or when using my old MSDOS
himem.sys. But in fact, djgpp programs should run fine when you no not use
himem.sys. Oh and may I suggest to give 8 meg of mem to your disk cache
and 8 to 16 meg to a ramdrive, and then put your djgpp temp directory on
that ramdrive. Oh, and you might want to taak a look at Opendos, too, it's
free for personal use ^_^!
