Search for "Numerical Recipes" by Press et al. There is an online version somewhere, but I didn't keep it because I have the book ;-) I think Sinan mentioned it a few weeks ago, so you can check the mail archives on www.delorie.com. They also have a version of all programms on diskette, I'd recommend that, too. Compiles fine, except for some minor flaws, like naming a routine "select".
