I got it, printed the manual, and am looking it over--haven't tried it yet. Like in Zork, with Script I have SCRIPT, now with Less I have BRIEF and VERBOSE. Less has much more though. Shawn noted that it may have been my VESA driver, so I worked around the problem. But with this mouse problem, I am not under win95, but I suppose the mouse driver may contribute to the problem. I'm using MSCMOUSE a 92' driver. Has anyone else experienced similar problems where the mouse messes up?
