I am very satisfied so far with the success to date. However, my NT machine is bigger, faster, better connected, etc. If there was a C++ compiler for Win32 that would compile the exact same dialect of C++ as djgpp, I would like to have the same code getting developed under/for Win32 and put into djgpp just once in a while. I have not had any success compiling the code that works under djgpp with MS VC 5.0, mingw32, or Borland. There seem to be library differences, header file differences, etc. There is no UI, graphics, or other machine-dependent stuff in my code. Just IO streams, , , , etc. I consider it possible that the problems are related to having include search paths mucked up somewhere, particularly with mingw32 and the several versions of libraries available for it. TIA for any advice on the likelihood that the exact same code can make under djgpp and real Win32 and how. Al
