There is information about DPMI (note letter order) at DJ's web site: www.delorie.com/djgpp/ ...however, most of the advantages of protected mode are taken care of already--i.e. a program compiled with djgpp will run in protected mode without you writing any special code for that. All that is necessary is that there is a DPMI for your program. Windows has one, so if you are using DOS from Windows it is taken care of, and there is a free one, CWSDPMI, available at DJ's web site, if you need to run your protected mode program in regular DOS. >Can someone tell me the best way to learn djgpp?
