I was asking the same question here - the problem is that gcc doesn't support LFN in NT, so you must look for solution in FAQ (LFN only, short only, LFN & short parts) I recomend the solution with NameNumericTale (look in FAQ)... Or you can try to rebuild gcc as Win32 console application (with Cygnus port for example)...
