Please post any speed measurements that you can come up with to back up this claim. I have measured DJGPP performance when compiling programs on 486DX2/66 vs P166, both in plain DOS (no Windows). The test case was a large (4000 lines) C program. The ratio of the compilation times was about 1:4.
