Even an old (mid-80s) book from a library will do a good job to provide basic info on the syntax and the basic library functions as 'printf()' and so on. Here in Germany I once found a book in a public library called 'From Basic to C' or something like that. When you get the idea of C syntax, then it won't be hard to convert your Basic-progs 'by hand'. Christian.
