Rsxide doesn't "make" well either. However all the compiled programs (compiled on a Win95 machine) run fine in my Win3.11 + Win32s machine. Is it a known bug ? Is it related to the fact that a windows program cannot start from a MS-DOS box in Win3.11, whereas it can do it in Win95 ?
