I'm not entirely certain why this happens sometimes and not others, because I have no problem with C files as text attachments in Netscape Navigator 3.04 Gold. Perhaps there is a difference in the way Communicator 4.04 handles such things. (I can tell what browser you use from your message headers.) > Yes, I mentioned that in my original posting. It is neither as complete nor as rigorously tested as the current version of DJGPP. I don't know any of the details of Cygnus, so I can't help you with specifics. The Cygnus mailing list would certainly be a better place to ask about the specifics of their class implementation. > Hmm....the 's' key? In what program? The Info version available as a downloadable file along with the rest of the DJGPP packages (v2/faq210b.zip). It can be read, along with the other DJGPP documentation, with the GNU Info reader (v2gnu/txi390b.zip). Info is a very handy hypertext browsing tool, and the format is supported by both RHIDE and Emacs, the two most popular DJGPP IDEs. Obviously, you cannot read it with Cygnus unless it has an Info reader tool. In the HTML FAQ at delorie.com, you can use Ctrl-F (Edit|Find) to search the topic index for "error", "error messages", "redirect", "output", and other terms, and they all lead after a few tries to the same reference, chapter 6.10. > Well, you could draw a picture! ASCII art is always neat to look at :) I stink rotten at ASCII art. :-) > All in all thanks for your time. > Jason > PS Does anyone know why I keep getting this error that there is more included text > than new text? I mean what is causing the error, Netscape or the News group? Probably it's your news host, which refuses to allow postings that have more included text than new. This is a safeguard against Usenet Newbies (tm) who reply to long messages and don't snip the nonrelevant portions out. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- | John M.
