Try VIM, it is VI Improved: http://www.vim.org/ I use it on my DOS box, is compatible with the bash shell that djgpp provides, as well as gnu-win32 bash. I just tried to get access to the DOS version and got a "Page Not Found" from the server supposedly supporting it.
