concerning the following from a makefile

	         # If you use gcc, you should either run the
	         # fixincludes script that comes with it or else use
	         # gcc with the -traditional option.  Otherwise ioctl
   	         # calls will be compiled incorrectly on some systems.

just a quick question
i installed gcc 2.7.2.1 from the binary distribution
are my headers already fixed ?
or if i have to fix them , 
what exactly do i have to do ?
