I cannot tell if the jmpt g_atss is being executed. The system reboots itself at this point, with no output. There are two serial ports, but monitoring them gives no info. The info gathered so far was produced with errmsg and INT21 using AL=0x40 for output. Any suggestions regarding tracing, troubleshooting, etc, will be greatly appreciated. BTW, all this works under DOS 6.22 on a different hardware platform. The problem appears to be with the ALI chip ( Acer Labs, Inc.) Thanks, Fritz Parsons fritzp AT performancesw DOT com
