The trouble is that my knowledge and even comprehension of graphics hardware( and software for that matter) is below any standards. In fact I ignored it as much as possible until a few weeks ago(allegro hit me;-). But if someone with enough graph registers knowledge and also such a poor trident9440 sucker( one day they were sheapest in the market I think;-))will cooperate too, we might succeed. BTW the importance of such a driver is more then only dosgames. Trident driver for windows normally also screws up! I wouldn't hold your breath though! And also the most simple way might be a simple windows program which resets the windows default to 60 mHZ from the win-api.
