If you have installed the Allegro timer handler this is very unlikely to work properly, so you should be using the Allegro rest() function instead. If this doesn't help, you will have to post some example code (the smallest buildable program that demonstrates the trouble) for me to see what is going on. btw. would you please not crosspost your questions to this newsgroup and the Allegro mailing list? Ask on the Allegro list if it is directly related to Allegro, or in this group if it is more of a general djgpp issue.
