I'm pretty new in this group but not in C/C++ programming. I'm an CS student here in Mexico City. I need to run some free hex/ASCII dump, such as gitview I've downloaded the sources of GIT. It seems to me is ready to build makefiles (via 'config' bash script) and compile it, but I don't know how to do it. I've downloaded 'bash' for DOS, and many others GNU utilities ports for DOS. Any of you have compiled it for an 486 using MS-DOS 6.22? Or know any dump program? BTW, I've written a little not so fancy hex/ASCII dump program to use while I found a much better programm. Please, email me privately or post to newsgroup to share any ideas you have. Greetings!! --- Arturo Tena cbtsra0 AT andromeda DOT ulsa DOT mx arturo AT elweb DOT com
