A new version of CLIFF (Version 1.1) is now available.
It can be downloaded from the CLIFF homepage at:

What is NEW in this version
---------------------------

   The most important new feature of this version is the
   REAL TIME LIGHTING. The lighting improves the graphics and the
   realism a lot !!! ANY NUMBER of LIGHT SOURCES are allowed.

   Also, you can now run CLIFF in two possible modes:
    When "tile_on" mode is on, then you can see both textures and
    lighting.
    When "tile_on" mode is off, then you can see only the light without
    the textures.
   You can change mode either by pressing the "T" key during CLIFF or by
   setting the "tile_on" variable inside the CLIFF-shell.
