How hard would it be to make the "long filename API" available in NT? Can someone outside Microsoft do it? I just installed NT work station 4.0 on my PC, and everything worked fine except for the long filenames. If it is at all possible, I would like to have long filename support on NT 4.0. I'll start by begging the DJGPP masters. I'm also perfectly willing to volunteer my time, if it has to come to that. I'll have to learn about all the issues involved, which I understand is not a trivial task. At this point, I simply want to know if it is theoretically possible. -- Weiqi Gao weiqigao AT a DOT crl DOT com
