On my machine at work (a p133), everything runs silky smooth if I call __dpmi_yield() in the idle loop, and if I don't call it the mouse response becomes very jerky when running in a windowed mode. But on my machine at home (also a p133), everything runs fine without the yield call, while the mouse becomes uneven in fullscreen mode if I _do_ call it. So I'm not sure what the best approach is :-) -- Shawn Hargreaves - shawn AT talula DOT demon DOT co DOT uk - http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/ "Pigs use it for a tambourine" - Frank Zappa
