My server went down and I think the previous post got trashed. Anyway, I have a problem in my installation that's causing some of the downloaded test programs to fail. Compilation of everything seems to work fine. I'm using CWSDPMI and DOS 5.0 on an 80486DX2/66. The test program 'farptr' and 'nearptr' both fail. the math test program works but the last four digits of results are off. (weird) Help! Here's the scoop: environment: PATH=d:\DJGPP\BIN;E:\BC45\BIN;D:\EXCEL;C:\MSDOS;D:\WINDOWS;D:\PM4;D:\ALDUS;D:\UTIL\PKZIP; DJGPP=d:\DJGPP\DJGPP.ENV memory: go32/v2 version 2.0 built Aug 12 1996 22:27:23 DPMI memory available: 6347 Kb DPMI swap space available: 10441 Kb symify output: ebp=0004a678 esp=0004a678 program=D:\DJGPP\TESTS\LIBC\PC_HW\FARPTR\FARPTR.EXE cs: sel=00a7 base=10000000 limit=0005ffff ds: sel=00af base=10000000 limit=0005ffff es: sel=00af base=10000000 limit=0005ffff fs: sel=008f base=00014030 limit=0000ffff gs: sel=00bf base=00000000 limit=ffffffff ss: sel=00af base=10000000 limit=0005ffff Call frame traceback EIPs: 0x00002101 __farpokeb+9 0x0000157f _main+47, line 7 of farptr.c 0x00001d26 ___crt1_startup+138 Any ideas? ***************************************************************** Ron Newman Troubadour Technology Music http://www.imt.net/~ronman/animal.htm *****************************************************************
