Sorry for a newbie questions, but - does _working_ setlocale() for djgpp exist? The one found in standart distribution is just a dummy. At last I've written my own, but maybe I'm knocking at the open door? P.S. My version is very trivial and supports LC_CTYPE only, but this was enough to force vim - my favorite editor - understand Cyrillic letters... If somebody interested, it is (among other funny toys) at http://www.ice.ru/~slobin/misc/welcome.html Good luck! -- Cyril Slobin | `When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, | `it means just what I choose it to mean'
