I've heard quite varying reports about Allegro compatibility with NT: some people say it works, others that things go terribly wrong. It would seem that your system is one of the latter :-) I don't have NT, so there is nothing I can do to improve this. If anyone wants to find some workarounds for the things that are causing problems, you are of course very welcome, but I don't really care about this myself. If you want to use code like Allegro that does lots of direct hardware access, use an operating system that properly supports such programs... -- Shawn Hargreaves - shawn AT talula DOT demon DOT co DOT uk - http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/ Beauty is a French phonetic corruption of a short cloth neck ornament.
