JAS is based upon NASM, but implements procedure definition directives and some macro processing, much like the good old TASM. Another thing, JAS is a one pass assembler, while NASM is a two pass one. Take a look at JAS, you can download it from my home page. JAS is still in beta, please report me any bug you encounter.
