Win 3.1 seems to be very stupid, bu Lose 95 no. Seems it looks in the BIOS data area the resolution you are setting. If I remmember well I windowized screens of 90x30 from RHIDE. I doubt Lose 95 have any knowledge about this twisted mode ( ;-) ). From the other hand seems that simple modes (like VESA graphic modes) must be supported by the graphics driver provided by the video board. In some cases the implementation of the card manufacturer is incomplet and the faulty code isn't in Lose.
