The question was indeed a specific C question. That has never been in doubt. This group isn't a specific C group. Point. Try and understand that. If you crosspost to comp.lang.asm or alt.binaries.erotica you may also get a non-C answer, whether or not your question was in C. And no, that is *not* the responder's problem, but a problem for the person who posted the question. That's the risk you take crossposting to non-language specific groups.
