First, do have a look at the file README.1ST...Some of the stuff in there will getcha goin'!! (I've done the *same* thing, too!!). Give this a try: gcc -c -Wall a.cc gxx -o a.exe a.o I *think* you need to rename .cpp to .cc (although, again, look though the readme file *and* the djgppfaq for further info...) If you downloaded the stand-alone info programme, try: info gcc invoking for more information. It's a bit tough at first, but stick with it. Give a cursory look to *all* the documentation and keep asking questions. There *are* friendly souls out there who will help... ta
