From: James MacDonald Newsgroups: comp.os.msdos.djgpp Subject: Recompiling CWSDPMI so it allows INT 19? Date: Fri, 4 Jul 1997 16:30:34 +0100 Organization: Trills and Technologies Distribution: world Message-ID: NNTP-Posting-Host: netbook.demon.co.uk MIME-Version: 1.0 Lines: 18 To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com DJ-Gateway: from newsgroup comp.os.msdos.djgpp Precedence: bulk I haven't got CWSDPMI sources. I'll get them if necessary. What I need to do is to recompile it so that it allows INT 19 (reboot) to proceed instead of printing : Interrupt 0x19... etc. How could I patch it? I don't have much knowledge of assembler. I suppose I could simply comment out the handler, and patch it to return OK or whatever is necessary. Any help here? I suppose CWSDPMI must be compiled with DJASM. I have TASM, but it's the 1989 version and NOT new :( -- Revised anti-spam in use : remove X to reply - 'Xnetbook' becomes 'netbook' Anti-spam thermonuclear warheads cheap at only $300!
