Bottom line, it's possible (well not just possible, since really it's possible to do just about anything, but I mean more like reasonable) to make a DirectX version of Allegro for Windows on Windows compilers, but that kind of autodetection and interface with windows is a bit hard to do with djgpp. At least, that's what everybody told me last time I really made a push for this... - Calvin -
