Please think a little bit about that, because it would not solve the problems (if they are) discussed in that thread. As an example: I'm working currently on the binutils 2.8.1. The diffs will have a size of about 50K not zipped. The for DJGPP prepared source archive will have a size of about 2MB or so. But following your thought I should upload to DJ only the diffs and the user should then download from the GNU sites the full binutils sources which are about 5MB?
