Nobody has really responded to the idea I had...  I don't know if it's
possible because I don't know the intricacies of DirectX, but could you
possibly make a GFX_DIRECTX driver for Allegro?  I think that this would
be a best case scenario for everybody...  If GFX_AUTODETECT detected it,
it would provide hardware acceleration for a lot of cards and great
Windows compatibility (yank yank)...  If not, it would just continue as
normal...  Please let me know what you think... Shawn?  Is this possible?
