Anyway, the book never mentions DJGPP inside, and I only figured out what was on the CD-ROM by finding the install page in the post-index appendix. DJGPP is all that is mentioned in regard to the CD-ROM; I get the feeling it may be all that was on there. Usually books say if source code for example programs, etc. is available. Book was from 1996; don't know what version DJGPP it was. One thing struck me- the book was one of those that would have been $25 if not for the usual CD-ROM in the back... instead, it was $40 or so. Begs the interesting question, was that *really* a "free" DJGPP, or not?!
