Apart from bouncing to the message originator, the error message also goes to the mail administrator on the machine that runs the list server (and guess who is that administrator on the DJ's server?). So the usual reaction of a good netizen would be to quitely send those bounced messages to the trash bin and wait for DJ to take that user off the list. If the messages continue to bounce after a few days, *then* you might send personal mail to DJ and to postmaster@ and ask them politely to take care of this.
