If you hate him so much, start doing something about it or shutup. I don't agree, mainly why support a Shell (or OS if your believe that) that sucks so bad. In all the OS's I have ever run (and that is a lot of them) I don't get the downtime you get with ANY windows version from microsoft. DJGPP is wonderful at DOS, and works well with NON-MS Dos which is wonderful. My opnion is that ported GNU compilers and tools to windoze is a waste of resource and time. Until Bill Gates gets his act together and starts asking for good OS's again I just don't think it is worth it. But if you want it, just do it.. That is usually the way to get it going anyway. I don't think DJ was begged, forced, or held at gunpoint to port GNU stuff over to DOS, he just did it, and a wonderful job at that. These are My opnions, I do not force them on anyone. No riping on spelling or grammer, I am not a english major and as long as the compiler knows what I am saying I could care less everywhere else. Intelligent flames, or rebukes will be read, other will be passed over. Stuart
