Now, the X11R6.3 sources can be compiled with the DJGPP's cousin Cygnus GNU Win32 compiler (all except the X server + some clients). Would DJGPP have the network layer necessary to build X11R6.3 along with some clients? As you mention, there is a DOS X server one could rely on. How was it done with DesqView X11? (If I am not mistaken clients could be compiled with DJGPP, correct?)
