Why your are doing changes in the behaviour of gcc and gas without contacting at first the people who made the existing working versions? DJ has made the gcc port and I the binutils and I think it makes no sense when anybody makes his own version of these programs. I think we should come to common point of view about these problems but I think it belongs not to this news group. For such problems there is the mailing list djgpp-workers.
