There were, instead, some other files, quite large, and no > adequate documentation to indicate if perhaps Microsoft has replaced > the earlier SDK files with these, and if so which is needed... the help file that comes with rsxntdj clearly states in the 'Using MSSDK Headers' section that you the downloads are limited to march 31, 1997. so, you use them, if you have them, if you don't, you don't. i don't have them, and all the samples compile and work fine. i still haven't had time to recompile some of my own stuff -- why don't you go ahead and try some things and provide some constructive comments. microsoft platform sdk is commercial software. you can read about it at http://www.microsoft.com/msdn/sdk/about.htm (shocking what going to the relevant site and using their search can do for you!) you can always try http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/ and see if a particular package form microsoft is available. the only reason i am replying to this is to prevent other people from thinking the rsxntdj distribution is somehow incomplete. it is not. -- Sinan ******************************************************************* A.
