Date: Mon, 5 May 1997 22:36:16 -0700 (PDT) From: KaRNaGE To: djgpp AT delorie DOT com Subject: allegro: textout_centre() / gfx_mode_select() Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Precedence: bulk for some reason at runtime, when gfx_mode_select() is prompting the user to pick a video mode, and i use the mouse to select it....textout_centre() and textout() the textcolor / textbackground color are both the same (therefore the text is unreadable)....if use the keyboard to select the video mode..it works perfectly...they way i'm using textout...first i textout() to my virtual screen 'BITMAP *'...then blit() to the screen... i'm running a Pentuim Pro-200 32MB ram univbe output for my video card Video Card: S3 SuperVGA (Virge/VX) with 8 Mb RAM DAC: S3 Trio Internal 24 bit DAC Clock Chip: S3 Virge/VX Internal Clock i really can't give snippets of my code cuz it's really messy...i just converted it to use allegro....but this 'bug' is pretty anoying...
