I don't have my code at hand, but 

(BITMAP)dataf_rle[spr_no].dat->h 

or

((BITMAP)dataf_rle[spr_no].dat)->h 

or something similar worked fine for me. Well, with allegro 2.2, but I
don't think it would be very important.
